Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RESTAND (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit re-stand.com, send us a request through the website, or contact us by e-mail or messenger. We follow the principles of the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, for visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible for your data

RESTAND is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, write to info@re-stand.com.

2. What data we collect

• Request form: name, company, work e-mail, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), the show you plan to attend, booth size and your message.
• Correspondence: the content of e-mails, messages and files you send us, including stand briefs, floor plans and logos.
• Technical data: our hosting provider automatically records server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) to keep the website secure and working.

We do not ask for and do not want to receive special categories of data (such as health or religious data) or payment card details through the website.

3. Why we use your data and on what basis

• To answer your request and prepare a concept, a price and a proposal — steps taken at your request before a contract.
• To deliver a project you order — performance of a contract.
• To follow up on a proposal we sent you and to tell you about related services for future shows — our legitimate interest in developing business relations. You can object at any time and we will stop.
• To protect the website against spam and misuse — our legitimate interest.
• To meet legal obligations, for example accounting and tax rules.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only when necessary:

• with service providers that operate our website hosting, e-mail and business tools, under contracts that require them to protect the data;
• with exhibition organisers and venues, and with contractors involved in delivering your stand, to the extent needed for approvals and build-up;
• with authorities, when the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Our team and service providers may be located in the United Arab Emirates, the European Union and other countries. When data is transferred abroad, we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, or rely on another lawful basis for the transfer.

6. How long we keep data

Requests that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact. Project and contract data is kept for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period, usually not longer than 30 days.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited) to understand how visitors use the website — which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive and whether a request form was sent. Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, kept for up to 2 years) are set only if you click «Accept» in the cookie banner. Until then, and if you click «Decline», Google receives only cookieless signals without identifiers (Google Consent Mode), and no cookies are stored on your device.

Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so that we do not ask again. You can change it at any time through Cookie settings, the link in the footer of every page, or by clearing your browser data. We do not use advertising cookies and do not use analytics data to identify you. Google may process this data outside the UAE and the EU under its own safeguards; see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Fonts and all other files are served from our own server.

8. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted;
• restrict or object to processing, including to direct marketing at any time;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• lodge a complaint with a data protection authority — in the UAE, the UAE Data Office; in the EU, the authority in your country of residence.

9. Security

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to requests and project files is limited to the people who work on them.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
